    • Single objective type paper of 150 minutes duration.
    • Marking scheme: +1 mark for correct answer, -0.25 negative marking for incorrect answer.
    • Sections: Part A (General English – 50 Qs / 50 Marks), Part B (Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Qs / 50 Marks), Part C (General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability – 50 Qs / 50 Marks), Part D (General Knowledge – 50 Qs / 50 Marks). Total: 200 Questions / 200 Marks.
  • For Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographer (Post Nos. 2, 4, 6):
    • Single objective type paper of 150 minutes duration.

Salary Details

Eligibility Details

Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale (completed within the stipulated course duration) and proficiency in the use of computers.

Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32, OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with minimum 60% marks / 6.32 CGPA along with 1-year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer (DCP/DCCP diploma holders with BOAT apprenticeship certificate under Apprenticeship Act 1961 are eligible). Requires a minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English shorthand and computer proficiency.

18 to 28 years as on 16.08.2026 (Relaxations as per rules)

Up to 31 years for OBC candidates and 33 years for SC/ST candidates, wherever posts are reserved. Serving government employees, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, meritorious sportspersons, widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from husbands are eligible for age relaxations as per Government of India orders.

Selection Process

1 Written Test: Objective type single paper of 150 minutes duration comprising quantitative aptitude, reasoning, general knowledge, and English. Qualifying marks: 50% for UR category and 40% for reserved categories against notified reserved vacancies.
2 Skill Test: Candidates are short-listed in a maximum 1:5 ratio (with a minimum aggregate of 10 candidates) based on written test performance.
3 Computer Literacy Test: Qualifying criterion is 60% marks for UR category and 50% for reserved categories.
4 Stenography Test (for JPA/Steno): Shorthand test (300 words at 60 wpm for 5 minutes) and transcription on computer (30 minutes). Maximum mistakes allowed: 10% for UR, 12% for reserved categories.
5 Document Verification & Merit: Final selection is based entirely on marks scored in the written test among candidates who qualify the skill test.
